"All I wanted was to climb!"
With this word he trys to "excuse" his mountaineering
opus. Reinhold
Messner though recognizes him as extraordinary alpinist,
the one, who has remade mountaineering
as great as it was in times
of the great Jerzija Kukuczke.
Tomaž is before his time. That it is so he has proven with
his ascent to Daulaghiri in
1999.
It is an unrepeatable achievement
, with which he has opened a new dimension of classic mountaineering.
